Here are the primary rules and the judges that are the same for every contest. Please read them before entering. This for your sake and ours

NEEDS
Anime or video game related
Has little kids (playing, smiling, whatever...hence the title of this contest)
A snowy background
500 KB or less in size
Any image type

PREFERENCES
Traditional art

There is a difference between "Needs" and "Preferences." "Needs" obviously means that anything listed under it needs to be in the drawing. "Preferences" means it doesn't need to be there, but it will earn a little extra points.

Winner will get his/her submission as our featured deviation and the prize will be Love Hina: Volume 1 manga.

AnimeClub2006 has set quite a record for a new club, gaining 40+ members in its first 5 days! Check out our members list...maybe somebody you know is already here!

And this is AnimeClub2006, a club for anime/video game artists! We're quickly fulfilling our promise to become "the next big thing," having over 30 members joining and more joining everyday! If you're a fan of or draw anime/video game art, then sign on up! Whether it be traditional or digital, or even photomanipulation of screenshots, we accept it. So long as it has Goku, Cloud, Ryu, Serena, Fei, Rikku, Sora, Yu-Gi, or anything that's related to anime or video games, it's art for this club!

How do you join? Simply send us a note notifying us that you're joining our club and add us to your deviantWATCH list! Hard to believe that it's that simple? Well then do it and you'll find out that you're a member. There's no fees or prices and we don't discriminate or judge anybody...you apply to join and you're in. No interview or preliminary selections...plus every member will be entitled up to 5 non-competition submissions per month, and in addition to that every member will be eligible to enter any competition, which will have prizes such as video games (PS1/2, X-Box, Gamecube, Gameboy, PC, etc,) movies, CDs, gift certificates, even cash, and other goodies that I conjur up!

And don't think you won't go anywhere if you join this club. Sure there might not be any openings now, but sooner or later people will get tired of their position, whether it be judging or administrating, and positions will open up and be made available!

So there's many reasons to join up! And as soon as money is available, our club will be a deviantART subscriber! And look at it this way: you have nothing to lose, only able to gain prizes from our competitions and possibly spots in our administration, as well as the simple fact that joining the club gets you that much more exposure in the art community! If the club takes off well enough, we will open up a website on the net, which means even more exposure for you!
